How many sales leads can I expect to get from the Standard Advertising package?

Most of our dealers get between 1 and 3 genuine sales leads every week sent through their web site alone. Many customers will often view the web site and phone or visit directly.

How many additional sales leads can I expect if I advertise on the additional Premium web sites?

Our dealers are very impressed when they subscribe to the premium portals. If you subscribed to every web site that we offer you could expect one or more genuine sales leads each day.

How do I send you details of my stock?

We have two methods of collecting stock details and our support staff will help you decide on the best way for your dealership.

  • AutoStream Online: You connect to the internet and enter or update details of your vehicles using our on-line software. Our support team is more than happy provide full training to your staff
  • Vehicle Import System: You send a file containing details of your vehicles, for example an Excel Spreadsheet or an extract from your dealer management system.

How soon will I see my stock on-line?

If you send in stock details using AutoStream On-line then we will receive the stock as soon as you finish editing. Stock submitted via our Vehicle Import System would normally be updated within 30 minutes.

If we host the used car section of your website, then your updated stock list will appear as soon as we receive it. Over 90% of the web sites on which we advertise your stock are updated within hours or daily.

What information do I need to supply about my vehicles?

For a vehicle to appear in the used vehicle section of your own website the minimum that we require is manufacturer and range. Many other web sites require mileage, registration number, specification and price, and some give preference to vehicles with a photograph.

Of course, the more information that you provide the more attractive your vehicle will be to a potential customer. For best results we recommend that you include:

Yes, you can send us vehicle details from any dealer management system. Please contact our support team for more information.

How often do I need to update my vehicle details?

As many web sites give preference to recently submitted vehicles, we recommend submitting your stock daily even if it hasn't changed. Most web sites remove stock more than 3 months old.

Do I need a permanent Internet Connection?

No. Using the Vehicle Import System you can edit your stock at your leisure and only connect to the Internet when you wish to send us an update. AutoStream only requires you to be connected to the Internet whilst you edit your stock.

How do I include photographs of my vehicles?

Take pictures of your vehicles using a digital camera and store them on your computer as JPG files. If you use AutoStream Online then the software will prompt you to add the images. If you send us a stock file, for processing through our Vehicle Import System, then simply send us your images and stock in one complete zip file. Alternatively, let our photographer visit you each week, take the pictures and send them directly to us. Through both systems multiple images are fully supported.

How will I receive sales leads?

Any leads from the AutoLocate Web Site, your own AutoLocate Web Site and your AutoLocate Used Car Search plug-in will be sent to you via your preferred method - Fax or Email. Although many leads will come in the form of customers calling or visiting directly.
